Fiorillo

Vittorio Fiorillo is an Italian guitarist, musical arranger and composer living in Formia (LT), Italy. He obtained a degree in guitar at the Conservatory of Benevento under the direction of Maestro Raimondo Di Sandro. Subsequently, Fiorillo got the II-level Degree Diploma at the Conservatory of Frosinone with Maestro Angelo Ferraro. In addition, he has attended courses at the Berklee Summer School and numerous Jazz-Fusion seminars with J. Pass, M. Stern, J. Kelly, R. Peckam, and M. Dadi. He also achieved the Sibelius Copyist and Steinberg Teacher certifications at Midware Educational (Rome).

In 1984, with Ezio Mazzola, Fiorillo founded the vocal and instrumental group "Chattanooga". The group participated in numerous television shows and worked on tours and recordings with artists such as R. Cocciante, R. Carosone, R. Arbore, and T. De Sio. Between 1998 and 2000, Chattanooga was invited to play and sing at the Beatles Week in Liverpool at the Cavern as representatives of Italy.

Vittorio Fiorillo is the author of several instrumental and vocal works, ranging from classical to modern and contemporary music.

Fiorillo teaches classical guitar and music theory in several schools in Italy, where he also conducts and arranges pieces for orchestras of young musicians. He is currently teaching in the 1st Grade State Secondary School with a musical focus on "Marco Emilio Scauro" in Scauri (LT), Italy.
